About Audifactory

Small tools for long attention.

Audifactory makes a Screentime Off-Ramp: private, uninterrupted audio that gives attention somewhere worthwhile to go after the screen turns off.

The work should earn its complexity.

Inside, Audifact coordinates files, rules, timing, local speech, and two listening rooms in one app. Outside, a listener should make a few understandable choices, begin listening, and leave the interface behind.

Uninterrupted attention

No feed needs tending after playback begins. Soundscapes and optional voice continue with the screen locked.

Sound made for the experience

Audifactory creates evolving soundscape cartridges for diversion, reflection, and screen-free listening.

Your words remain yours

If desired, a Collection can begin with your writing, questions, sources, or a theme you want to explore.

Local and calm

Playback, text-to-speech, personal Collections, and Voice Lab work belong on the listener’s device.

Why the Glass Bead Game appears here

Hermann Hesse’s novel imagines a practice of discovering relationships among music, mathematics, history, art, and thought. Audifact borrows that image lightly. A spoken text is a bead; a Collection is material for a possible kaleidoscope of the mind.

The useful point is not private cleverness. Insight should return to ordinary life. A bead matters when it changes what you notice, remember, make, or do after the app grows quiet.

Why it looks this way

Cream and copper connect the work to made objects and older instruments. Verdigris suggests time and use. Sky blue and liquid glass keep the interface open, current, and luminous. The result should feel intelligent without asking the listener to decode it.
